Bring Your Scholarship to the Greater Horn.
Researchers and institutions across the eight nations and the diaspora are welcome to join the Forum — as members shaping its work, or as subscribers following new analysis and convenings.
Eight Ways to Belong.
Membership is by application and free of charge. The Forum seeks scholars and institutions committed to its mission, not donations. All members participate in their individual capacities.

Scholars from the Greater Horn and its diaspora. Full members contribute to the Forum’s direction and hold voting rights.
Associate Individual Member
Scholars from outside the region who contribute to the Forum’s research, knowledge exchange and dialogue.
Associate Institutional Member
Universities, research institutes and centres — regional or international — interested in contributing to the Forum’s work.
Honorary Member
Distinguished figures recognised for their service to the Forum’s mission.
Apply for Membership.
Tell us who you are and what you study. The Secretariat reviews each application and will be in touch.
New Analysis, Straight to Your Inbox.
Receive occasional updates on the Forum’s publications and convenings across the eight nations — no more than a few times a year.
Subscription is not membership. Your email should only be added to a mailing list after you connect this form to a subscription service.
